1. Know the years...the time line is worth thirty points of the test;
2. You will need to write a summary on four of the topics for the second portion of the test...you will be able to select four topics from a list of ten to write on...this section is worth twenty points;
3. The last section of the test will be a map, you should familiarize yourself with the location of the Confederate states as well as the border states...this is worth twenty-five to thirty points.
