“Before the rise of the printing press in the sixteenth century, stories were passed down orally. The older people in a community shared the important stories of their history…all principles and values of life woven within these gripping narratives. They shared these stories with each other, and with the next generation. It was a part of their culture…their lives.” - Randy Frazee (The Story) ... How well do you know our story?

Term Exam
The Term One Exam will be based on the "Main Idea" pages that were given out at the beginning of each unit. These are the "Peach Pages". The exam format will primarily be short answer, with a few multiple choice and true/false sprinkled in for flavor. The essay question has not changed. It is from the American Revolution unit: "On
the following pages please provide a detailed
chronology and explanation of the events that took place between the American
Colonies and the British government from the early 1700s (salutary neglect) to 1774 that led to
the Battle of Lexington and Concord."
